Hi, It seems that the interpolation from a basic shape to �none', or �none' to a basic shape is not allowed according to the spec [1]. IIRC, both interpolations are possible in WebKit and Blink. I think these should be added to the spec. IMO, it would be great if CSS Shapes could say that additive, accumulative animations as well as distance computations[2] are possible (as long as ellipse/circle do not have �farthest-side�/�closest-side� specified). The individual scalars of the shape function values are taken to compute the results.
