People don't do it much now, since (among other reasons) it's a pain. To do it now, without fqdn's in the request, you need multiple IP addresses for the server, which usually involves OS-level configuration tricks that are not casual to the obvious observer. I'm happy to see support for this to go into the protocol. --Shel
