The Grand Platypus Open is a biweekly online tournament open to players of EPT Asia region (Oceania and all Asian countries except South Korea). Eligibility of players holding visas is decided on a case by case basis.
Format[edit]
- If 9 or more players check in:
- Single-elimination bracket.
- All matches are Bo3.
- Finals are Bo5.
- If 8 or less players check in:
- Double-elimination bracket.
- Upper Bracket matches are Bo3.
- Lower Bracket matches are Bo1.
- Lower Bracket Finals are Bo3.
- Grand Finals are Bo5 with a 1-0 lead for the player coming from Upper Bracket.
Prize Pool[edit]
- Places 9-16 are awarded 2.5 OSC Points.
- Places 1-4 are awarded additional 0.25 OSC Points per participant.
