Allen G. Taylor

Allen G. Taylor is a 30-year veteran of the computer industry and the author of 30 books, including SQL For Dummies, Seventh Edition, Crystal Reports 2008 For Dummies, SQL All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies, and Database Development For Dummies.
 
He is the president of Goldfinger Global, LLC, a firm specializing in loss prevention technologies. He lectures internationally on astronomy, history, database, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He also teaches database development and Crystal Reports through a leading online education program, offered at over 2,000 colleges and universities.
 
Allen is a Life Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Editor of the Oregon Section’s IEEE BEEEP.
 
He currently serves as President of the Oregon L5 Society, a chapter of the National Space Society, and is a member of the Gerontology Research Group. He is also a member of the Oregon City Toastmasters Club and a former Toastmasters Division Governor.
