Bad Boys: Ride or Die

Bad Boys: Ride or Die

The thing I enjoy most about the Bad Boys movies is that they are consistently fun every time. All four of them are solid three-star flicks with great banter, good action, and fantastic chemistry between Will Smith and Martin Lawrence that makes it all so fun to watch. We see Smith playing the loud-mouth in the past films, while Lawrence plays the more hesitant and twitchy one. But we get it slightly different with the chemistry this time around.

We see that Smith’s character has made a lot of changes to make for a more mature version of himself, while Lawrence tries to be the fearless of the bunch. It makes for an interesting yet fun contrast between the past three films as we see their changes over the series. The plot is pretty generic, and you know from the start that the bad guys will miss their shots and the good guys won’t. But there’s enough there to jazz it up and make it interesting to watch.

Oh, and the city of Miami is shown in full glory and it’s fun to watch if you live there like I do and recognize some of the locations. This was a good time in the theater.
