The film was a bit too far-fetched and goofy for me to truly love. I get the sense that every M. Night Shyamalan script is like this—spoon-fed and unrealistic, pushing the plot from point A to point B in a way that doesn’t feel natural. That kind of storytelling doesn’t work for me; it lacks that real and genuine feel.

The first hour, though, I actually enjoyed. Sure, it was cheesy and goofy, but it had a certain charm. Josh Hartnett was entertaining on screen, Lady Raven’s songs were catchy, and the cinematography was eye-catching. But then, the last 40 minutes completely lost me. It became so over-the-top and was just dragging on. I honestly thought it was going to end about five times, but it kept going, piling on more and more until it was overwhelming.

Didn't like that ambiguous ending either. Am I supposed to react like, "No way! He got out of his cuffs?" He's literally locked in an armored SWAT truck with two gunmen in the front, while unarmed. Am I supposed to think he’s going to get out? Pretty ridiculous if you ask me.
