I felt bad for Maika Monroe's character as she's in a new country without any family or friends to lean on and doesn't speak the language. The only person she has is her husband whose always working and doesn't believe her. She's stressed and paranoid and thinks someone is following her.
Watcher is another aesthetically pleasing psychological thriller that utilizes the slowburn approach effectively. Some intense moments sprinkled in(the scene in the theater and the one in the train being the most intense). Not sure how I feel about the ending just yet as I like it and dislike it. The mystery element didn't last long enough but I was already invested in Maika's story so I stuck it out. Overall I thought it was a solid watch but could've been better.
