Honcho Chalko’s review published on Letterboxd:
So invigorated by this, but my overalls critique is the sound design could have been so much louder, like why am I getting these awesome slasher set pieces in half decibels?
Other than that, I respected and appreciated the evolved narrative and the twist, stab, twist, turn and NYC entropy of it all. Sequel Requel at its best.
Solid thriller and horror slasher, but no real masterful twist or jaw dropping moments, but I did laugh out loud at a couple of Mindy's lines and also were you on Xanax Hayden? Give a more muted performance I dare you....
My favorite meta, gory, complex, bloody, referential and iconic horror franchise.
Ghost face forever.
