With it's blu-ray release, I finally got a chance to rewatch this film, and I think it's just as great the second time around. Everything that was amazing the first time I watched this still holds up and it is still so much fun to see the Spider-Men unite in the finale. This time I actually noticed a lot of smaller things with the film making that I thought were really great. One thing I noticed and really appreciated this time was the tension of the scene at Happy’s house, where Electro, who is arguably the most powerful of the villains in this movie is just seconds away from being cured but changes his mind at the last second, it's a really great scene with building tension that made me appreciate the filmmaking so much more and really proves that this movie is much more than just fanservice. I still wasn't a big fan of the setup for this movie where the multiverse opens just because Peter and Doctor Strange were being stupid while casting a spell, but I really enjoyed everything else in the movie, so much so that I can forgive the lame storytelling used to kick off the film.
