“you should have seen yourself last night.”
everything i want from a burroughs adaptation.
desire and self-hatred so tangible it bleeds through the celluloid. ultimately feels like the culmination of everything luca’s art has strived to do, using his distinct sensibilities to adapt such a vulnerable work. craig gives maybe my favorite performance in luca’s entire oeuvre, some of the most compromising acting i have ever seen. everything is really beautiful and so fucking devastating, the better guadagnino joint from last year.
