I had the privilege of viewing this movie in its 4k restoration on a big screen at TIFF and it is the sickest film I have ever seen, yet. There are no other motion pictures that I can say have walked me through all kinds of emotions in one sitting. My favourite of all time. Also features the greatest song ever made Loco Amor.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

One minute you're pointing a gun at a cop, next minute you sneak into an airport and steal a plane, next minute you're thousands of feet up in the air flying for fun and then next minute you're making love in the desert to a girl you met by flying that plane close to her car. Absurd in the best way possible.

I gave Dennis Hopper a 12 minute standing ovation at the end.

Bigger than life movie, at least when I first watched it at 7 years old. Changed my life. Not the greatest acting or script rewatching it in my mid 20's but it's an action classic.

The movie that did it all for me as a kid. Got me into toy guns, especially the MP5. Sparked the love I have for action movies and suspenseful sequences. That mid 1990's SWAT aesthetic is perfect. I cannot give this movie an unbiased review cause I enjoy the shit out of it every single time. Aged quite well too.

The mention and display of adrenochrome scares the shit out of me. America is being run on it I have no doubt.

Only watched this film once and I wish I never watched it so that I can experience it again for the first time. I've postponed understanding it but I really enjoyed the ride.

Love that they keep bringing back old movies to the big screen for those of us who never got to experience it the first time.
