Saw it when it first came out, but 2014 was one of the heavy drug years so it was basically a first time watch.

Kinda hard to feel bad for a horror movie heroine when she’s a cop and this one is particularly coppish. It’s her first day on the force and she’s assigned to watch over a precinct that just shut down and all this crazy shit starts happening and rather than saying “fuck this” she tries to law and order some demons lmao.

That issue aside, it’s actually a pretty good movie with some nice effects, a solid story, and a banger of an ending. I can safely say that this is worth a watch even if, like me, you are anti-cop. And I did like the lead even though she was a little stupid but still ya know, ACAB.
