Thomas’s review published on Letterboxd:
“The Emperor´s New Groove” feels very modern thanks to its fourth wall breaks, witty and self-aware narration and dialogue, stylish editing, and absurdist humor. Kuzco is an insufferable little shit and for the most part, I find him more annoying than entertaining, but the supporting characters make up for it. I love Pacha (mainly because I love John Goodman´s voice) but the clear standout is Kronk. Everything he says or does is comedic gold and he and Yzma are a great duo.
“The Emperor´s New Groove” is not among Disney´s best films, but it´s unique, crazy, and definitely one of the funniest.
