Lucio Fulci is no stranger to sleaze but with “The Devil´s Honey” he goes all out softcore sexploitation erotic thriller. But be warned, this is more uncomfortable than sexy. The film is full of toxic relationships and unlikable characters doing cruel and depraved things to each other. I guess Fulci wanted to explore some psychosexual themes but this aspect doesn´t work for me. Corinne Cléry is easy on the eyes and some of the kinky imagery will stay in my mind (I just say saxophone), but apart from that, I didn´t get much out of this.
