Thomas’s review published on Letterboxd:
Why I should care about anything or anyone in this movie is beyond me. What a ludicrous setting, ridiculous plot, and paper-thin characters with incomprehensible motivations. Not to mention that everything looks cheap and ugly. This film is completely devoid of the energy, satirical wit, and masterful craftmanship that made the first three Living Dead movies iconic landmark films of the horror genre. There is the one interesting new idea of trying to “tame” the zombies, but the execution of that idea is just as horrible as everything else. Well, we will always have “Night”, “Dawn”, and “Day” (and “Land” has its moments, too).
