Exploring the filmographies of Twin Peaks actresses will lead you to strange places. Like an American B-movie take on an Italian erotic gothic horror take on Beauty and the Beast, complete with beast-on-woman sexy time. “Meridian” has atmospheric, dreamlike visuals going for it but all in all, this nonsensical mess is much more boring than the premise makes it sound.
