How to Steal a Million 1966
"I'm going to faint.
"Don't. There's no room."The last one for this year!
Truly a work of art. Audrey in Paris, Peter O'Toole with his recognizable voice (I was very concerned when he put chalk in his mouth), sharp dialogue and a "heist." I really enjoyed it immensely. To see Audrey Hepburn on screen is to see a true master of the art. She is funny, captivating, and has facial expressions for ages. The chemistry between the two leads is one to remember. I'm thankful I decided to watch this as my last film of 2024, leaves a great memory behind!!

Yes, I know it's La Haine. But now I feel like throwing up. I'm not going to forget it for a long time. This work of Kassovitz is colossal, but I wish I would have liked it more. Okay, maybe I need a rewatch to enjoy it more. -
The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
What the hell! I'm 30 minutes into this and it's already a fantastic movie. It's my second Wes Anderson, and in those brief 30 minutes I have said:
"Jason Schwartzman?...Jude Law?...F. Murray Abraham?...RALPH FIENNES?!..." I didn't know they starred in this movie and especially F. Murray Abraham was a very special surprise for me. Every Wes Anderson scene is a painting and every sound beautifully satisfying. It reminds me of Fantastic Mr Fox, Knives Out and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…
