this rules. and it was a treat to watch it on a big screen with 80+ of my colleague’s anxious, squirming students. the pacing in the beginning, i think, is a little wonky, but about halfway through, this movie goes into goddamn overdrive and just never relents. that bridge scene?????????????? incredible. thrilling stuff. also, the movie’s use of close-ups is nothing short of divine.
