    Has science gone too far??

I downright adore the language, as with any Eggers movie. He’s a rare talent who’s particularly apt to the material, as Ineson & especially Dafoe are to his sensibility—obviously it has the most gas when Willem is onscreen. I’m ambivalent about its thoughts on modernity, but it’s a rich and intriguing take for sure. Plus I liked the cat.

Very atmospheric and commanding but there’s one major gripe that I have , I  don’t like nosferatu’s design in this. They made him look like a firefighter with that massive mustache !

    ★★★

Look how they massacred my boy…

Gladiator 2 is a decently fine but extremely underwhelming movie. Though the scope and grandeur of Gladiator 2 is larger than the first film, it’s a lot more lackluster In many ways. Lackluster in its story, in the performances, in the visual presentation by a mile…

I didn’t hate this movie but I just really wish it was better.

Also did they shoot this whole movie in 120 FPS felt like I was watching a video game 😭

  • Wicked

    Wicked

    Drew Reuschlein

    ★★★

gotta be honest, the ending is goosebumps. but the almost 3 hours leading up to it is kind of a slog, despite the broadway production being anything but. like this thing did not come anywhere close to doing the spectacle of the original show justice. ariana grande feels so out of place. and everyone’s already pointed it out but lighting and color (and even directing for that matter) did the art department so dirty, i’m legitimately so tired of seeing…

Not very good, although puberty is admittedly a smart setting for this premise. Many scenes hard to watch.

  • Blink Twice

    Blink Twice

    Jeremiah Battle

    ★★★½

Blink Twice at its purest form is a thrilling film to watch and alot of that is due to this film’s editing, sound design, and fantastic central performances.

Blink Twice a spiraling story about power dynamics, the abuse of power, and the belief of victims.

I was quite impressed by how much I enjoyed this film, going in I wasn’t expecting much but, I left out quite engaged by the story.

Although its messaging isn’t as in depth as the…

    Alien: Romulus

    Jeremiah Battle

    ★★★½

Alien Romulus is an excellent film if you’re looking for scares, tension, amazing production design and stylistic cinematography…but outside of that, this movie isn’t offering too much to love.

The biggest complaint I have about this movie is that I felt no investment for a majority of the characters on screen and I cared little for the journey they go on in the film. Really outside of David Jonsson, who is giving the best performance in this film and easily…

    ★★★½

    Longlegs Longlegs…where do I start?

Like alot of people, the early reviews and marketing had me thinking this was gonna be up there with some of the scariest films of all time…while Longlegs is far from that, I do still think this film works as a solid psychological detective thriller with horror aspects integrated into the DNA of it’s narrative.

I think there’s alot of good to this film, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t…

    Inside Out 2

    ★★★½

Maybe This Is What Happens When You Grow Up, You Feel Less Joy.

While I don’t think this is Pixar at their best, I do think that Inside Out 2 is a solid film that anyone who has gone through puberty will appreciate and resonate with.

Inside Out 2, obviously is a film about growing up and going through emotional shifts in your life. Even more so, Inside Out 2 is a film about learning how to navigate through your…

    Bad Boys: Ride or Die

    Jeremiah Battle

    ★★★★

This movie was everything I wanted and more.

Bad Boys: Ride or Die takes the best qualities of this Bad Boy franchise and elevates it. It has all the essentials…Guns, Explosions, Shootouts, Car Chases…i
It of course has the comedic genius banter between Martin Lawrence and Will Smith (Which I swear only gets stronger with each movie they make)…but it also has a gripping narrative with some of the highest stakes out of any Bad Boys film.

    If it wasn’t…
