Very glad I checked this one out. A kinetic, propulsive action thriller, rooted in Indian mythology and Dev Patel's charisma.

I was a little worried in the first half, with action scenes that felt overly frenetic and a cliché, flashback-driven backstory. Thankfully, the second half totally rocks, racing from the drum-driven training montage to a few incredible fight scenes.

Either way, an exciting and stylish debut by Dev Patel, obviously made with talent and passion.
