Maika Monroe movies to romainia with her husband and once she’s there not only does she have a creepy guy watching her apartment but a killer is out and about too.. it’s an effective little thriller that also works well as giving you the feels for what it’s like to be a stranger in a foreign country and the loneliness that accompanies this.. I’m On the fence on how I feel about her issues with her husband and he tends not to believe her and this is definitely something we’ve seen before “the hysterical lonely woman” ehhh it’s a little overdone .. but I did enjoy the build up, creepiness , cinematography and sound design quite a bit .. the performances were nice and while this won’t break much new ground its well made and does entertain..
