Go in as blind as possible but if youβve already seen the trailers or read the synopsis, it wonβt ruin the time and is still worth going and seeing. Itβs a blast and I had even more fun than I expected after I saw the teaser trailer.
Sophie Thatcher is a delight and I cannot wait to see more movies with her--especially horror for the dedication that she brings to projects (yellowjackets, heretic). Jack Quaid continues to be great.

Cute, funny, well executed, and a solid concept but it's missing some zing in the end. Like my husband said in his review, I think it's missing a punchline
First, wow I wanted to have a good time and I sure did. I didnβt exactly expect to be attacked like that but I loved every bloody minute of it.
While honoring itself, it reminds the modern horror audience & horror side of Hollywood as to why ScreamΒ (1996) was originally created and why the franchise continues onward as an ongoing analysis and commentary of the evolution of the horror genre and its fans π€π±πͺπ©Έ

Itβs hard to believe that he went from Pearl to this. Maybe Mia Goth shouldβve also helped to write this since boy howdy thereβs no character depth to be found. Idk if she was the key to Pearlβs success, butΒ the writing on this is just so mediocre and by the last act, cliche andβ¦
