Where to even begin with this one? For an hour or so, I actually thought this was strangely tranquil, surprisingly touching, and rich with a clever indictment of humanity. It goes on a bit too long, which is an issue, but I always like a good subversive swing. It's silly, but sincerely so. It's understandable why a lot of people dislike it because it's the kind of film that could be either at the top or bottom of someone's yearly ranking.
It's absurd, and I'm not sure if it's that good either—the tone is a little inconsistent , and a short film of 30-40 minutes may have made it more impactful—but oddly, I kind of liked it for what it was, for the most part.
