Even coming from someone who doesn’t have much of on interest in the tale of Pinocchio, this is really good. An old fashioned, whimsical animation which has a lot to say for itself. It embraces the materials dark aspects and doesn’t shy away from taking risks. The voice acting is great, with David Bradley being the absolute standout.
