A very odd but interesting film. It’s occasionally funny. Parts are thought provoking and it can be emotional moving. I expected to be offended by the film. It’s surprisingly not particularly offensive. It’s more heretical than blasphemous. It’s soaked in Gnosticism in a way which makes me wonder about the writer directors worldview.
But I don’t really know what the point was. Why are we making a movie which features both people floating while smoking weed and actual crucifixions? The tone is all over the place and it didn’t seem to be making any particular point.
