  Deuandra is the Ghost Who Haunts The Painting.

  I like to think about her hanging out at her Mom's house staring at this 80's print that's been a fixture of the hallway near the bathroom for 24 years; a lady in long gloves concealing her face behind a wide brimmed hat - half way to salon art, soft Patrick Nagel energy. I can see her dreaming up her own supernatural stendhal syndrome horror scenario with herself as the mysterious salon…

  One of the more magical feeling films I've seen in this Semi-Arthurian Dark Fantasy genre. John Boorman was apparently obsessed with it and made the cast and crew of "Excalibur" watch it to understand the aesthetic feel he was going for. Richly atmospheric, understands that cinema is language and speaks volumes with nothing but it's very essence.
