Little Women 2019
A masterpiece that perfectly encapsulates the book.
I’ve not much to say except that Laurie is just no. Amy definitely deserves better, I don’t buy that Laurie has zero feelings for Jo. In the scene where Jo’s coworker (forgot his name) it was evident that Laurie still cared and was being very protective of Jo. Though this could be just a platonic response, either way, Amy deserves better.
Anyways I’ve got Laurie’s love profession engraved in my head (I cried during that scene). Will always love a movie with Timothee in it. 4/5 ⭐️

Call Me by Your Name 2017
Shamelessly, I loved this movie. Controversial, I know.
From the aesthetics, the cinematography, the plot, to the intimacy? Dare I say it might be one of my comfort movies. The setting along with the vibes that came with it were impeccable.
Aside from the unusual age gap, and, well, the questionable scenes… it’s near perfect. If only Armie Hammer wasn’t a flesh eating freak, no? All jokes aside, the movie went beyond my expectations. I simply just clicked on it as…

Bones and All 2022

Pride & Prejudice 2005
Obviously, it’s a me problem that I could not understand the dialogue whatsoever. I had to skip back to understand some parts, which is completely understandable since the setting was well, old.
I think I cried in this film, though I’m not sure. Can’t recall what it’s even about. I just know it was good though.
I have yet to finish the book (again, the dialogue has never been more confusing than in the book. I’ve really got to get used to classics). 4/5 ⭐️

Dead Poets Society 1989
“…but poetry, beauty, romance, love—these are what we stay alive for.”
A hill I’ll die on is that the play was a metaphor for Neil and Todd. Neil’s dreams were unsupported by his father, he knew he couldn’t have what he desired for as long as he lived—that’s why he died. There was nothing else to stay alive for. -
Dead Poets Society 1989
