Perfect Score Rewatch Fest: 3/18
This was one of the films I had a feeling may get bumped down from a 5/5 and here’s why.
I don’t often get hung up on plot holes in a film however in this there are so many that come to mind it is really difficult to ignore. A lot of the time characters are handled extremely well with great detail but there are times where it is simply just inconceivable and the copout plot devices seem forced.
Regardless The Sixth Sense is still an excellent psychological thriller which is spooky yet extremely heartfelt at times, and certainly Shyamalan’s best.
Favourite line: “Maybe we can pretend like we are gonna see each other tomorrow- just for pretend”.
