So wonderfully authentic; from the way this is shot, to all the brilliant performances from a mostly first-timer cast. Domingo and Maclin are terrific.

Some films demand to be watched on the big screen. Babylon is one of those films. Filled to the brim with lavish indulgence, a score for the ages (seriously, those trumpets are going to be blaring around my head for weeks), and an ensemble that gives it their all- Chazelle is truly pulling no punches.
