okay, so this film doesn’t really have the most exciting story, it’s honestly a bit of a snooze fest! but it totally nails the atmosphere, wrapping you up like a cozy blanket on a chilly night. the visual editing tricks are super impressive and completely took me by surprise, it's insane to think a film from this era to be this artistic! it definitely has that eerie, gothic vibe that lingers.

it's not my favorite horror movie by far, but it's definitely one that’s worth seeing if you haven’t watched it yet. i recommend it!
