Was not vibing with the Cassevetes/Dickinson sections at first, and I hated whatever Clu Gulager was doing particularly in contrast to Marvin who’s effortless cool is in stark contrast to his his seemingly try-hard partner. However, put Gulager up against a stiff like Reagan and I started to warm to his performance choices, if not his grating timbre.
