I became wary of seeing this after the wave of nerdgasms over it, but I thought it did a pretty good job of being crowd-pleasing without pandering.

EDIT: That said, I’m super glad I didn’t see this opening weekend, as I’m sure I would have wanted to walk out of the theater. 

Apparently someone forgot to tell Hugh Jackman that you don't have to ACTUALLY act in these things.
