    ★★★½

The opening? The amount of blood at unexpected times? So beautiful. Though the cult plot didn’t do much for me, the visuals and every scene where blood happened to show up in her food/drink/shower/etc were so fun. Really surprised at how much I enjoyed this!

    ★½

Yes I saw the poster and went in blind... and I got DUPED! This is about metaphorical zombies, nobody has the decaying zombie arm like the poster </3

I don’t give a fuck about subdued high schoolers and I give less of a fuck about people thinking “hmm something’s weird” for an HOUR before anything happens. What if the Invasion of the Body Snatchers concept had no heart behind it? Cool (funny) cuts every once in a blue moon and Sherilyn Fenn being GORGEOUS are the only things that don't make it a complete waste of time.

Bad!! Awful!! Even scenes with the atrocious “lizard” man bring nothing to the table. The only thing saving this is the fact that I did feel bad for the monster when they were hunting him. He's just a poor little guy with a rubbery appearance! Leave him alone :(

I haven't seen this since childhood, so going in near-blind was a pretty fun experience! My main grievance is that I couldn’t stand Marion. They introduced her as a badass and then she was reduced to a character who consistently fucked things up while whining “INNNNDDYYYYY!”

  • Nosferatu

I’m SO glad I saw this in theaters. The sound design was stunning and it wouldn't have had the same effect with my shitty speakers at home.

I don't even know how to express how much I loved this. I am in awe of this movie and I WILL be rewatching. Maybe now studios can see that more gothic horror is always needed <3

YES the effects are goofy YES I still cry multiple times!!

One of the first movies I loved — I think there’s still a well worn VHS of this in my mom’s basement somewhere <3

    National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Better than the original EASILY. I'm staying in DC so there’s truly no better time to see Nic Cage run around government buildings. That little freak is so magnetic in every movie!!

  • Witchfinder General

    Witchfinder General

    ★★½

Not the usual Vincent Price fare — surprisingly brutal, but even that aspect was tedious. Not too sure why this is regarded so highly and mentioned as one of his best? Is it because it's less melodramatic?

Hey what the fuck was that <3

So unique that despite not liking it, I have to respect it. (Seriously. What the FUCK was that?)

This kind of prank is crazy. Messing with a strange man and THEN going above and beyond to schedule an embarrassing meetup and THEN admitting it was a prank and THEN not apologizing??? w h y
