Wallace dreading the dinner and going through the motions of conversation only half-comprehending what’s happening and by the end of the night realizing it got the trivial things off his mind and he had a good time…. BASED!

I don’t think I’ve ever praised a movie for being mundane with an especially long-winded character before, but there’s a first for everything I guess?
