My 3rd time watching this and it geniunely gets better each time.

Denis Villeneuve adapts Frank Herbert's vision of Dune as best as I could imagine for the big screen. Everything in this film is so detailed and put together.

Firstly, it's an amazing introduction to the world of dune, references to the lore paint a sublime picture a visually familiar but completely alien feeling universe. The set and costume design absolutely contributed to this, especially the bene gesserit and spacing guild representatives.

And OMG Hans Zimmer's score fully elevates this movie to another level, so many scenes are enhanced by the soundtrack.

Rebecca Ferguson's lady Jessica was absolutely insane, along with the whole family, I couldn't think of better casting.

Anyone who calls this boring, has a messed up attention span because I've been invested each and every time.

This loses half a star because I expect part 2 to be even better!
