I'd decided halfway through the trailer that I'd seen enough and wanted to go in as green as possible, past Pete doing future Pete a solid there. Kicking off with what felt to me like a wholly unnecessary humble film bro brag type declaration of it being shot entirely on 35mm and then the non linear chapter system.... I thought this quirky shit is going to be tough going. I was right but for different reasons as it turned out.…

Haven't seen this since catching it on ITV in the early hours 25ish years ago. I remember liking the ending but very little else. It wears it's influences on it's sleeve so although I remember The Wicker Man meets Casualty vibes, I didn't pick up on Rosemary's Baby, The Omen and Duran Duran's Wild Boys getting some shine as well.

Once it stops tripping over it's point at the screen film referencing, there's a lot to enjoy but man alive I still find their need to air their music and film franchise takes obnoxious in the first act.

Book of Shadows is fine enough but fuck right off claiming it's the best of the Blair Witch films with Your hipster contrarian horseshit.

Terminator Santa is a fucking menace though. Loved the work He put in.

Possibly my favourite of the franchise and easily the best since part 2. All in all with a really good selection of shorts, no real weak links for my taste but... Justin Long, quick wee question for you. What in the name of fuck happened to you during filming of Tusk? Because your segment..... That was something else.
Kate Siegel's turn was hands down my personal favourite and one of the best in the franchise but I had to rewatch it as the first viewing I still had residual dog hybrid imagery knocking around my head from the previous chapter.
