I think it's fair to say I've given up on the June Challenge when I rewatch a favourite movie of mine to attempt to reconnect my film passion. I've run out of steam and am just trying to make myself happy. What else can make you happier than The Big Lebowski?
I mean, shit, who doesn't want to be the Dude? I'd give up ten years of my life to be The Dude. He is the most awesome guy who ever lived. And John Goodman is just hysterical. I mean, genuinely his delivery and just general attitude makes me piss myself. Man, if there was ever a more fitting description of a likable asshole than Walter Sobchak then I haven't seen it.
The Big Lebowski is a perfect movie. There's not much more I can say. Maybe, that Sam Elliot's moustache is epic? And that Jeff Bridges would be an awesome casting choice for a film biography of George Carlin? I don't know, but everything is excellent here. A true classic.
