wanted more of yang yang , those scenes were my favourite
this movie is quite literally almost flawless, no joke. it’s charming and emotional. it’s gorgeously shot ( another great criterion transfer) and the dialogue is constantly phenomenal. it’s almost like an outer body experience from how natural the movie is, as if you’ve been plucked out your own life and placed in the middle of someone else’s. sometimes it doesn’t even feel like a movie and this isn’t a bad thing. you do feel the runtime in places and this could be slightly distracting, but nevertheless, i found myself constantly invested, and the ending really got to me
an almost flawless drama showcasing life and its issues at different stages in time
