Revisiting the Village for the first time in over a decade, I wasn't sure what to expect. I remember enjoying it, but all the mass hate this movie receives, clouded my judgement. After re-watching I can definitely say it held up extremely well. Creepy, moody and atmospheric, in a sleepy hollow kinda way. A top notch cast full of A-list actors who really deliver on their roles and especially Ivy (played by Bryce Dallas Howard)! I was never a huge fan of hers, but this made me reconsider. She was definitely the star who stole the show and I felt for her.

I can now confidently say, that I'm a fan of M. Night's The Village
