The Brutalist

The Brutalist

Felt like i hopped into a time machine & went back in time in cinema this gave me a 50s-60s vibe, probably because it was filmed in vista vision. The intermission was perfectly placed within the film & overall really great execution all around this really checked off all the boxes will definitely have to rewatch this in 70mm.

Adrien Brody gives a groundbreaking performance, this is on par with Mikey Madison’s performance in Anora if not better i still have to sleep on it.

i am still gathering my thoughts but to be completely honest I’ve never seen anything like this in years.I know the term “masterpiece” gets thrown out a lot but this film fits that description perfectly for me.This is a one of a kind film & is why i go to the movies , going to an 11pm screening & getting home at 4am , now that’s cinema
