“This is the setup for a classic horror movie.” 🚌⋆ ˚。⋆🏚️ ୨୧˚ 🩸
I honestly quite enjoyed rewatching this film! It has some original elements, and I definitely didn’t see that plot twist coming at the end ✨ Plus, getting to watch a horror movie set in my birthplace? Chef’s kiss 🤌🏻 Nothing like a bit of cult activity and gruesome scares to make you feel right at home ahaha *nervous laughter*
“A mother's love is the closest thing we know to God's love.” ₊ ⊹⛪️ ✧˚.✝️ ᵎᵎ 👹˙˖
Reminder to self: never, under any circumstances, let my mother pick the movie again, because this was SHITE
“Don't you see we want to kill you a thousand times, to the limits of eternity?” 🍚⋆✴︎👰🏼˚。⋆👅
This is not for the faint of heart—or the strong of heart, or really, anyone with a functioning stomach. Yes, the violence is horrific, and yes, I had to look away more than once. But if you stop at the shock factor, you’re missing the point. Pasolini wasn’t just out to disturb—he was making a brutal statement about Fascism, or totalitarian power.
Church,…

OKAY SO this was a wild, hilarious, and slightly unhinged ride, like watching a live sketch that miraculously doesn’t fall apart. As someone who isn’t American and only knows SNL from internet clips, I still found myself completely hooked. The film throws you right into the chaos, with camerawork so immersive you half expect Lorne Michaels to hand you a last-minute script change!
The whole cast…

The first time I watched A Clockwork Orange at 12, I hated it. Watched it again at 19 and I thought, “Eh, not that bad.” Rewatched it tonight, at 27, and now I’m convinced it’s a masterpiece.
The older I get and the more I see how cruel people can be, the more I realize how prophetic this movie is. Kubrick and Burgess didn’t just make a novel or a…

I looked at my hamster and sighed (disappointed yet again that she hasn’t mastered sewing or picked up a broom) 💀
“I ain't getting shot again for some cause I don't believe in.” 📝⋆. 𐙚 ❄️˚. 🐦⬛
A chill, no-stress love story set in the American Civil War. No guts, no glory, just vibes. But THE CAST?? Absolutely unhinged. Every five minutes, I was hitting that Leo DiCaprio pointing meme pose like, ‘Wait, THEY’RE in this too?!’ It’s worth the watch just for that alone 🥸
“Do you ever feel like the big secret is that we are gods?” ♡₊˚ 🐕・₊✧ 🧒🏼⋆⭒˚。⋆🥩
Masterpiece? Nah. Total flop? Nope. Nightbitch is a solid watch, showing the raw, messy side of motherhood and the importance of validating those feelings. When Mother embraces her “wild” side and takes some time for herself, she thrives—and happy moms make happy kids. Simple as that ✨
“Eddie, you keep talking like a bitch, I'm gonna slap you like a bitch.” ⋆✴︎ 🎻 ˚。⋆ 🩸
The first time I watched this film years ago, it completely rewired my brain. That was the moment I truly understood the power of a great script. The film keeps you on the edge of your seat—not through endless action scenes, but purely through razor-sharp dialogue. Quentin, you brilliant, chatty nerd, I love you for this masterpiece!
Also, Steve Buscemi is going immediately on my “hear me out” cake 👀
