The Rover is an interesting and mysterious film that appropriates many cinematic genres including elements of dystopian, Film Noir and largely Western influences.
A far-reaching film that asks us thought-provoking questions as well as providing entertaining sequences of action and violence.
Probably the Pattinson’s performance that convinced a lot of producer that he is a serious actor.
Guy Pearce plays the main character extremely well but Robert almost steals the film.
Far from being my favorite A24 films due to his slow rhythm, monotony and lack of empathy for the characters and their intentions.
