Although very clearly a by-the-numbers space horror flick, Within The Rock is competently made, with actually good acting, and higher production values than this sort of fare usually has. Also, it has Xander Berkeley doing whatever it is that he's doing.

I remember watching this on Svengoolie as a kid, and enjoying it. But as an adult...well, let's just say my inner kid is still pretty happy.
