  A deconstruction and challenge to the Born Sexy Yesterday trope and I LOVED IT!!! I like that it shows how wrong it is for the men in Bella’s life to want to own her and decide what is right and wrong. It emphasizes that a woman should get to choose that for herself.   Chris Sullivan was easily the best part of this movie. Like damn, I wish that was my dad.

  The father and daughter relationship along with the impact of the ending is what really saved this for me. The first person ghost perspective was what made me want to watch it in the first place and it was interesting to see it in action. But I absolutely freakin loathed Ryan and his acting like what the actual hell? Who would ever be into him?
