lowkey been chronically off letterboxd sadly so i went into this completely blind without knowing the general consensus and goddamn what a disappointment 😭😭 aside from the visuals this just isn’t allat. the character are really boring and just don’t have any depth. the main story is also just really boring and just uninteresting. if the visuals, the score and some of the really tuff fights weren’t here then it would’ve honestly been like a 4/10. kinda mid tbh lowkey type shi.

pretty much got exactly what i wanted. effortlessly entertaining because of the chemistry between these character that carries the just decent enough script and the kinda lacking humor, but still above average because of the insane visuals and actually really well done backstory for shadow. the sonic movies always really charmed me and while not top tier cinema, i feel like they’re some of the most fun video game adaptations out there and really never fail to entertain properly.…

Ugh. Where do I even start? I think it's safe to say that, even with Eternals and Thor 2, this is the worst movie in the MCU. The Marvels is an oversimplified generic borefest with atrocious writing and the most forgettable villain in all of the MCU.
