For me personally, The 25th Hour is the perfect movie.
It includes all the elements that make a film truly special:
-Impactful scenes (the Twin Towers scene, the mirror scene)

I have to be honest—when I first watched Punch-Drunk Love around 22 years ago, it felt extraordinary. Paul Thomas Anderson’s direction was outstanding, and Adam Sandler delivered the best performance of his career at the time.
Rewatching it in 2025, I still appreciated its strong elements, but in the meantime, I’ve seen Anderson grow into an even better director, and Sandler has given stronger performances, such as in Uncut Gems. I still enjoyed the film, but I didn’t experience the masterpiece I had seen all those years ago.
I have rewatched Magnolia recently and that was far superior over Punch Drunk Love
