sean baker did so well to prop up this façade of a beautiful, young romance that when ivan called her stupid i truly gasped. i believed it too, ani.
(also, i thought ya soshla s uma was starting halfway through because the movie is very russian, and it turned out to just be all the things she said…
either way, what a blast from the past.)
