Truly an eye opening experience in a sense, due to the realization for me that this may just not be my outright favorite movie ever. For what is an incredibly coveted title, I can’t say that this is exactly the movie I’m going to think of from now on when that popular question is asked.

Very solid directorial effort from Saulnier here, with a bunch of intense sequences and a grimy atmosphere created from the get-go. Other than that, just thought it was pretty good? Nothing else to write home about for me.

My first David Lynch film, and from what I can tell, this was the most “mainstream” or “accessible” project he ever created. I really enjoyed this beautiful journey of reflection, and found myself very moved by the end of it. Granted, it took a while for me to get invested, and the ending does feel abrupt, but I would gladly do this journey again.

Deadpool & Wolverine might be a little messy, but dammit I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have a blast. Underneath the cameo carnage and fantastic banter between Jackman and Reynolds, is a really emotional story about friendship and rediscovering one’s self. It delivers.

    I mean…. wow

Interstellar made me question my existence, in an incredibly profound manner, leaving me devastated throughout, but hopeful by the end. An utter achievement in filmmaking.
