if you create a caricature of a dumb action director (who represents dumb idiot society) to lecture with your alter ego director, and in said lecture you start talking about shit like "the dignified way in which krzysztoff kieslowski shoots violence" then you are basically mort rifkin to me. "aren't communists from russia?" i always wonder what happens when people like moretti or allen interact with people at least a little more involved with politics or film than the characters…
