WELL CONGRATS MR HENRI MANCINI FOR THAT JUMP SCARE

Another film to add in the very short list of jump scares that actually worked on me category! Also fits in the "simple yet brilliant idea/set up that's more than competently executed" category!
Not to accuse the film of emotional manipulation but just the premise of people TRYING TO HURT AUDREY HEPBURN OF ALL PEOPLE! HOW DARE U !! And yes she's amazing as always and makes you totally invested :)
So yeah, an excellent home invasion thriller with nice tension that really stands out thanks to a memorable and satisfying finale.

Also absolutely LOVE the fun fact that when the film was released in theaters, movie theaters owners dimmed their lights to the legal limits, and then turned them off, one by one until the audiences were in complete darkness during the climax!!
